Bananas, One Bunch (min. 5 ct)

  • One bunch contains approximately 5-7 bananas.
  • Grown in Ecuador or Costa Rica or Guatemala
  • Product is shipped right before it’s ready to eat but it may take up to one day to ripen. Color may vary from slightly green to yellow.

I really didn't have time to go grocery shopping while I was on a trip. Ordered a few items from Amazon Now so I didn't have to do it when I got home. These there perfectly ripe. Great quality and delivered in a timely manner.

I ordered bananas through Amazon Fresh three times thus far and every time, the bananas are as I would pick them - getting yellow but still with a bit of green, so they last a few days before being too ripe. Each bunch had 5 bananas and one had 6 bananas. I just wanted to add that one bunch had only 4 - but very large - bananas. I also received one bunch with 7 bananas.

Really impressed with Amazon Fresh produce. They deliver the 'prime' goods. Puns aside, I was worried about the inability to select my own fruits and vegetables but surprised that they either get much better quality than the grocery store or really good at choosing the best... Either way, I couldn't do it any better.

Got these few times already, at least 5 every time as described. Fresh and taste well

Ordered from Fresh for the first time yesterday. I read some of the reviews about brusing and open peels but I ordered anyway. I ordered quite a bit. Enough for 3 full bags and my bananas were sitting on top, yellow with a tint of green. I could have eat one yesterday but today they are perfect. I will absolutely be ordering again from Fresh and have no problems ordering the bananas or other fruit (I also ordered some mangoes and they were great)

purchased multiple times and am happy with quality, taste and price you can never have too many bananas. eat them raw, let them get super brown and make them into banana bread, or cut them up and freeze them for smoothies. its a waste-free fruit.

All bananas were eaten, but slowly, to see how fast they went bad. They went bad kind of fast... so maybe I ate them quickly. I had them on a banana hammock... er, banana hook for about a week and a half before they went completely brown, I still ate them for this review. They didn't taste bad, they just didn't taste like much at all in the end. Bananas came yellow with little to no bruises, which made me happy that no one was abusing my bananas before delivering them to me. When I didn't want to eat one of the bananas I used it to measure other random things, like my paintings, my shoes, a UHaul truck, my neighbor's dog, other fruits. It was an odd exercise that I still don't understand the reason for, especially since I never originally measured the bananas—my reference for size might not be accurate. I would still say I was able to note that many of the other items were bigger than the banana, so that's a plus.

We've ordered three times, and each time it has been a good quantity and just slightly green. Once there were two small bunches, and twice a larger bunch. They've always ripened up nicely. I expect this listing suffers from the few bad shipments always getting reviewed; I bet they're usually in pretty good shape.

I have never purchased bananas via an online grocer due to price (usually) and so many report of them arriving in poor condition. Today, I received my first Fresh order that included them. First, they were flawless and perfect yellow color. Yes, I may have gotten them a touch greener in the supermarket so they would last a bit but you usually get too green or too ripe. These are exactly as pictured. As far as price? Bananas are selling locally for under .50 a pound these days. I paid $1.39 for this "bunch" and while it was 5 bananas they are large and this bunch weighed 2.8 pounds. No, I do not normally weight my bananas at home but wanted to compare price. This works out to .49 a pound... what I would have paid had to made a trip to the store. So my experience from Amazon here was EXCELLENT bananas and EXCELLENT pricing!

My bananas so far have been a good buy from this distributor. They are not over ripe, bruised or lacking in amount as we get 6-8 bananas that are large sized which is nice. They're great on oatmeal.
