Great addition for instruction

My daughter loves working in her writing book, and refers to it often when practicing piano at home.

One of the best method books for young children

I have been teaching piano lessons for over twenty years now and the Faber and Faber method has been my favorite since college. I love how thorough the Faber's are, covering everything from technique to ear training, sight reading, theory, and artistry. My students are never disappointed by the song selection and the duets are the best I've heard from any method series. Highly, highly recommended.

Easy and fun piano book for kids

Piano teacher requested this for my 5 year old. He loves the book and is learning to play from it.

Wonderful book to enjoy with your children as they learn piano

I really enjoyed playing these songs with my children as they learned piano. Songs are fun to play and sing. thank you

works

i bought this book because all the parents i know who trying to teach their children how to play use this book. and my little one masters each book not hating it. so far it works, so i guess it's working. when its working and i have no experience using other books, i can only can this one works, too.

A unique approach to piano lessons--it's actually FUN!

When I started taking piano lessons over 25 years ago, my books were black and white, drab and boring. The thing that kept me motivated was my love of signing and the opportunity I had to sing along with some of the songs as I played. So how do you keep your student excited and motivated to learn? Through these amazing piano books. Full of bright colors, new twists on old favorites, plenty of interaction, a dedicated approach to the creative aspect of composing music and companion CDs are just a few of the things that I love. These books are incredibly priced and you won't find a better deal as far as how much bang you get for your buck.

great beginning piano books!

My 4 year old is learning a lot from this book and its companion lesson book with CD. I heard her tell her teacher that Beethoven was a "great composer" the other day. This book particularly has good 'theory' practice for a child who is simultaneously working on handwriting her alphabet.

EXCELLENT!!!

Purchased for our 5 year old son and it's a great book. Neither myself nor my husband plays the piano, so this was great because it was a how to learn to play the piano for both mom and child.
