Egmont British Edition...not Penguin
I found a few Mr. Men books in Poland and I remembered loving them as a child. As a kindergartener I would ponder the meaning of these quirky little stories (they aren't preachy, but they DO make you think...) Turns out my 3-year-old daughter loved them, too. I've never heard so many "Why?"s come out of her mouth in a single story. So, I purchased the entire Little Miss collection for her 4th birthday. We read all the books in two weeks and will keep them in our rotation! My kiddo connects with these stories so much that after one read, she can remember who's who by looking at the cover (I have to read the names to remember, and she can only read a few words right now). Worth every penny in content, and also a great value from the "if purchased separately" perspective (36 x $5= $180.) I also like that the books are numbered and create text when in the correct order. Every kid needs to learn how to put things in order!! Only one minor complain from me (which may be a plus for you): I think there are some wording differences between the American and British editions, and I would've preferred the American ones, even though the British ones are the originals.
Such a big hit I almost regret buying them
Got these for a sibling's four year old, and she can't get enough of them. Her parents always read a few night night books at bedtime, and she used to get a nice variety, but now these are all she wants. She picks two, then asks for another, and another... The youngest loves them as well. Can't read yet, but she enjoys flipping through them or dumping them all onto the floor so she can attempt to put them back in the box. Each book contains an enjoyable short story with colorful, simple pictures. The word usage may not be modern, but the four year old gets the gist, and most of the stories are easy to interact with which is good for a few giggles.

3 year old loves them
My daughter just turned three and she might not understand everything, but she sits through the entire story and loves to look at them on her own! I think they will get even better as she gets older.

Perfect Gift for a Little Miss
My niece just turned 3 and out of nostalgia, I wanted to gift her with these books I grew up with. The books are small, and quick to read, but the set of 30+ collector books is incredible! There are so many options, and she loves to be read a different one each day. In fact, she decides the little miss she reads will be her mood for that whole day. It's adorable. Cute box, easy to store.

Great stories from my childhood that I now share with my daughter. The box they come in is sturdy and helps keep them in good shape and organized in order.

Oldie but goodie
We found a Little Miss book at a goodwill & my 8 yr old daughter loved the character & message! I told her there were plenty others when I found the complete set I ordered it immediately, one of her favorite holiday gifts🤗
